Bold Bachelorette Party
It’s rare that I get to do small jobs like invites for showers or parties, so I was really excited to be able to create something exclusively for my cousin Dana’s bachelorette party. As her matron of honor, it was my job to help spearhead her bachelorette festivities. The original plan was Vegas, but when it became too cumbersome and expensive for some of the girls to attend, we decided Nashville would be a better option. I think most people know that the city is commonly referred to as ‘NashVegas’ because it is the center for glitz and glamour, stealing all the spotlight from Memphis (or at least that’s how the urban dictionary would like to define it). So I really couldn’t resist playing up this theme considering the change in plans for the trip. It was a dual bachelorette party, so I used the two honored ladies’ favorite colors for a bright and playful palette. We had lots of activities planned, so I created an accordion fold invite that included a day-to-day itinerary of events, and a tear off checklist to be sure everyone brought the proper gear, as well as an RSVP postcard that the girls mailed back to me, so I could coordinate lodging for everyone. It was truly a task, but I really enjoyed putting this together. It’s always fun when I can run wild without parameters! Enjoy the rest of this invite suite in our portfolio.
